This week i went to see Ryans latest arty, minimalistic,dark film and I found the soundtrack was one of the highlights of the film, minus seeing Mr Gosling beautiful/mental face (obviously) the music really filled in the gaps of the film and helped emphasize the retro 80's feel impeccably scored by Cliff Martinez (former drummer for the Red Hot Chili Peppers,

Paris Je t'aime

I've just Spent two weeks in paris with family, I'm fortunate enough to have a fashionista cousin who has a lovely appartment in the 18th, we did lots of fab things such as Saint-Ouen Flea Market, drinks and watching the hipsters at la perle (the infamous john galliano anti-semitic bar), walked along the canal at st-martin, compared Pierre Herme macaroons to Ladurée macaroons,of course lots of shopping with a visit to Collette and discount Marc Jacobs store and went to see the Hussein Chalayan exhibition at the Les Arts Décoratifs. SO sad to be back in rainy Manchester!
